About Ajman Malayali Koottayma (AMK)
Ajman Malayali Koottayma (AMK) is a community-focused, non-profit
organization established to bring together Malayalis residing in Ajman under a
single, professionally managed platform.
AMK was formed to address the real needs of the community—employment
support, professional networking, emergency assistance, social responsibility,
and cultural engagement—while maintaining ethical governance and
inclusivity
First Official Meeting & Governance Formation
The Beginning of AMK
AMK began as an initiative formed from a Facebook group managed by Mr.
Siyad A, which had a strong digital presence with over 18,000 followers.
From this platform, a WhatsApp group was created, bringing together around
20 like-minded individuals who shared a common goal: to build a structured
and credible Malayali community in Ajman.
From the very first meeting, it was unanimously decided that AMK would
function with professionalism, accountability, and long-term vision.During this meeting, AMK’s first governing body was formed through collective
consensus, establishing clear leadership roles, executive responsibilities, and
operational structure.
This marked the formal birth of AMK as an organized community body.
First Grand General Body Meeting
A historic milestone in the journey of AMK The First Grand General Body Meeting of Ajman Malayali Koottayma (AMK) marked a significant milestone in the organization’s journey. Conducted with the participation of over 300 members, this meeting reflected the unity, vision, and structured growth of the Malayali community in Ajman. It laid a strong foundation for transparent governance, collective decision-making, and future community initiatives.
